Denver

Due to a slight inconvenience of no Wi-fi, we were not able to blog for the past few days separately. Heres everything you need to know about what we did in Denver!

Eats:

We ended up eating at Watercouse Foods twice during our stay, we just couldn't get enough of the vegan mac and cheese!

Another great find was City o' City, we indulged in vegan "chicken" and waffles. Although neither of us have had chicken and waffles before, we can guarantee this place has the best :)

Fun Stuff:

First on our list was the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. The hotel definitely lived up to its reputation, it looked just as creepy/beautiful in person as it does in pictures. Our amazing tour guide Sophie was sure to show us around the haunted establishment with enthusiasm and eccentricity.

Unfortunately for our wallets, we decided to hit up the 16th street mall, a mile long three story shopping center with 12 movie theaters. We know, we shouldn't be shopping, but what are two underage girls supposed to do with some free time in a big city?

Of course we couldn't stay in Denver without visiting the red rocks amphitheater. Unfortunately, we didn't get tickets for the show that night (Sounds of ABBA), so we just hung out on the rocks in the park and watched the sunset.

Ice Cream (duh):

Ice Cream Riot looked like a quaint little shop on the outside, but the inside was covered in stickers and framed pictures of celebrities eating ice cream.

Little Man was an outdoor style ice cream cafe. With out-of-the box flavors that totally hit the spot on the hot day.
