South Padre Island

Long time no..write?? Spent a few days driving from Denver to Southern Texas, with a stop in Lubbock. Not too bad just nothing super notable for the drive. It was long in technicality but went by fast, we tend to make things quick and easy.

So fast forward we are in Southern Texas where you feel wet as soon as you step outside, and the pool water is no different than the real climate. Regardless, these three days were very relaxing.

A good bit of the time was spent in the water and hanging out with friends. When we weren't doing those things though, we were off the mainland exploring South Padre Island. It was very exciting, but similar to Florida in many ways, which isn't a bad thing.

One of the more notable things that happened on the island would be the pirate boat tour we took on the Black Dragon. This was exactly how you would imagine it, including the water gun fight we know you are all imagining.

With the time in Southern Texas coming to a close we are making our way North to Austin as our last stop!
